Guide to Using the NZFVWO members’ discussion list

This email discussion list is exclusive to the 138 members of the Federation.

Email discussion lists are powerful tools, allowing members to share information and resources or have open topical discussions. All this is achieved simply by emailing to one particular email address:

 

members@nzfvwo.org.nz

For example, if a member has a sector related enquiry (requesting research, resources, advice, other members’ experience etc), they can post it to the list by compiling an email as normal, but send it to the above email address. Everyone on the list will receive your email.

 

 

Sending an email to the Members list

  1. Compile an email as normal, making sure you include a short, descriptive subject line
  2. You can also attach files (but make sure they are not too large)
  3. Send the email to members@nzfvwo.org.nz 

 

Replying to emails

You can reply to the sender of the email, or you can reply to the whole list. Posting to the whole list is useful when your reply contains information that would be of interest to other members.

  1. To reply to sender, click on the ‘reply’ button on you mail program.
  2. To reply to the whole list, click on ‘reply to all’
