December 2005: A joint publication by NZFVWO and the Office of the Community and Voluntary Sector, this resource is comes in four parts covering all legal aspects of managing and running a voluntary organisation. The resource comes with a series of factsheets and checklists to guide organisation through their legal responsibilities and obligations. As of the end of 2008, Keeping It Legal is available only online. The printed version has regrettably been discontinued.

Value Added by Voluntary Agencies - Counting for Something Report
September 2004: A study of the economic value of the work of voluntary agencies. This joint report provides an overview of the voluntary inputs of ten major social services organisations over a one year period. It includes detailed presentation of the data, analysis and discussion of the themes arising from this study, and an outline of the methodology and templates used in the research process. The Counting for Something report marks the end of phase one of a three phase project.
